What's in a name?

Spasmodic - Occurring or done in brief, irregular bursts.
 
Dabbler - An amateur who engages in an activity without serious intentions and who pretends to have knowledge.

So you know the old saying "jack of all trades, master of none"? That's me in a nutshell. I love anything creative or artistic, and enjoy trying new things. When something inspires me I tend to dive in head first and stick with it for varying lengths of time. I am truly a "dabbler".

I love to read, mostly sci-fi and fantasy. I enjoy video games, but I'm not exactly a "hardcore gamer". My most recent game addiction has been Star Wars: The Old Republic. I stayed completely consumed by the game from launch in December till about mid May. My interest gradually waned as the weather got nicer, and now I'm onto things of a more "arts and crafts" type of nature. 


I discovered Pinterest recently. It has opened my eyes to a whole world of interesting things. I have really been inspired by all the beautiful nail art on there. Bouncing around from nail blog to nail blog got me interested in the whole blog scene, and eventually drew me in to where I had to have my own little piece of the internet.

A list of some of my past and/ or current hobbies:

The list is always growing. I may lose interest in something for the moment, but I will more than likely revisit it in the future.
